    Please see the below update from our Management Team regarding the Rental Program. This update can also be found under 'Updates from the Manager.'

    RENTAL PROGRAM:
    Our team of David, Paul, and Kristin Huffman have been hard at work in reviewing all bookings and reversing or rebooking those rentals to new dates.

    The following information was released to all guests and friends of Pelicans Roost in the rental program via email on 11/10.

    Dear Pelicans Roost Guests, Family, and Friends;

    Thank you for your patience as we have been focusing on a quick build-back for Pelicans Roost and getting our systems back up and running. Pelicans Roost sustained severe damage that washed away our bottom two floors. But we are excited to announce that we are returning BIG and FAST! Soon, we will have an estimated completion time, and we look forward to seeing you at our beautiful paradise!

    Many of you have open reservations from 2022. Our office is now available to address
    reservations from September through November. Once we've completed those communications, we will contact guests from December through February.

    If you are in either of these time frames, we are glad to rebook your stay and lock you in at the 2022 rate. Our staff will be reaching out to you to discuss potential new dates or to assist in any way that we can.

    Please keep an eye on our website and social media pages for future updates and
    announcements.

    Thank you for your patience and understanding during these times. We look forward to helping you in any way we can.

    ALSO, we are diligently working to follow up with renters who have already requested a switch in dates or a refund. Additionally, we will assist renters who have purchased trip insurance.

    As you may know, Pelicans Roost sustained severe damage in Hurricane Ian, and we've been working hard since day one to mitigate the damage. Thank you for your patience as we begin to build back and get all of our systems up and running.

    Many of you have open reservations from 2022. This week, our office will be available to address reservations from September through November. Once we've completed those communications, we will contact guests from December through February.

    As a thank you for your patience, we are offering to move your dates to 2023/2024 with the locked-in rates from your 2022 reservation. If you are interested, please respond with potential dates for the latter half of 2023/2024.

    If you took advantage of the Trip Insurance Plan through Red Sky or any other plan, and need assistance processing your claim we are here to help. Just email us back and we’ll work to help you get your claim processed.

    If we have already addressed your reservation, please disregard this email. If you have sent us an email regarding your reservation already, please respond here to ensure we did not miss your initial email.
