Hi Everyone – the following flyover video was posted by WPLG of Sanibel. You can see a brief glympse of Pelican’s Roost at 25:44 in the video.

Very hard to get any detail – but at least it tells us the building is still standing…..

You can get a pretty good view of all sides of our building in this video. Our building starts at around 2:09.

Amazing.... been waiting for this Robert. Thanks so much. Compared to what happened on W Gulf Dr and FMB, we got off easy.

    Hello All,

On this page are some recently uploaded photos, which were taken yesterday while on-site at Pelicans Roost.

These photos showcase the roof, grounds, front and back, underneath of the building, and beach. More photos are to come later.

Our team is continuing work over at the island to provide pictures for your purposes. Thank you, once again, for your patience in this process.

Would prefer to see more pics of our building and less of the pool house which does not get used. How about pics of the entire back side of the building and not just one half? Same with the front.

        Hello Robert,

        Thank you for your comment.

As we mentioned earlier, more photos are to come. Our team is currently on-site gathering more photos for the Board, each individual unit, and the area at large. Once we have these photos, they will be uploaded here for your viewing.

        Thank you for your patience.

      Hello Jean,

      Thank you for your patience.

We will be providing updates for all Pelicans Roost Owners during a scheduled Zoom meeting on Wednesday, October 12th at 8 PM (EST).

An email with this information has gone out to all owners as of this morning. This information is also posted in 'Updates from the Manager' on this message board. A Zoom invitation has been included in both places.

Thank you again for your patience. We hope to provide some answers for you soon.

    Hello All,

Here is a video submitted by Michael Kazacos, which was originally featured in this Facebook post.

The owner of the video, Nikolas Ventura, took enough footage of the island for an 8 minute long video. This video showcases the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian and current modes of transportation on the island (bike).

In his Facebook post, Nikolas provided island updates and said, "I still don't think it's completely safe for all access traffic."
